Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to complete a website?

Most websites, (depending if I have all your content together) would take around three weekends to complete.

Do I need to supply content for my website?

This is important, remember I don’t know anything about your business. You’re the expert about what you do, this information has to be transferred onto your website in the best way possible. All’s I ask is that you perhaps send me a word document with your services / products information and any supporting images / videos you have and i’ll take care of the rest. If there are any issues or we are a bit bare on some pages I’ll email you for further information.

Are there any ongoing costs for my website?

As stated in the pricing tables, there are renewal costs which will come up each year your website is 1 year old. They are: £50.00 for hosting renewal this covers your website remaining online and you’re emails staying online. Then there is a £10.00 fee for the renewal of your website address ( Other domain endings other than carry other charges which I can advise you on before hand.

Do I get my own business emails?

Yes! you can have as many email accounts as you like with a file size limit per email account of 50gb. When you need a new one added simply contact me via email and i’ll add it in FREE of charge. I can also supply the instructions so you can add your email to your mobile device so you don’t miss out on any important emails.

If I decided to go with your Web Analytics solution how long before we get enough data to start making changes?

Usually when we initially switch on Google Analytics, I would suggest a minimum of 3 months data is gathered before we start making a list of actions from the insight gained.

How long would it be until I start to see results from any SEO work carried out on my website?

After any changes made to a website for SEO purposes, as in industry rule results are only usually visible after 3 months – results are measured via Google Analytics and other software available to check the rankings.

I want to pay for Google Ads, how much would it cost me on a monthly basis?

How long is a piece of string? Most of my clients have small budgets so I have to ensure that we obtain the maximum conversions for each click we get ensuring that visitor converts into a lead. As a rule I tell my clients the cost of Google Ads should be included in their monthly business running costs. As a starting point I would suggest £10.00 per day, circa of £300.00 per month – this would give us the best results.
